And it is because of this that we, sometimes, feel the want for a man to pursue us. May it be a person we like or our significant partner in life, we want our man to notice us and to actually seek and chase us like how we are supposed to be chased.
So, how do we do this? How do you make him chase you forever? There are a lot of worldly views and instructions around that gives us ways on how to make him chase you. Instructions like you need to wear this kind of clothing, you need to use this kind of make-up, you need to do this skin care routine, or you need to have this kind of body.

I mean, there is nothing wrong about these kinds of ways but they are somewhat inclined to be on the temporary side. What would happen if you don’t like wearing that apparel, your skin tone doesn’t match that kind of make-up, your skin is too sensitive for that kind of skin care, or you don’t have that kind of body type? If we want a man to chase us, I suggest we don’t just go for the superficial stuff – we dig deeper. Aside from the physical aspects that we can utilize, we focus more on the internal: character, values, and personality. Something that can’t be taken away from us.
Remember, beauty and physical aspects fade, but how we deal with life based on our values and characters will leave a permanent mark in people’s lives.

Fear God and Pursue Him.
This is the most effective way in order for you to make him chase you again and again.
I know, you might be wondering, “How will I make him chase me by fearing and pursuing God first? What does that even mean?”
This simply means taking your focus off from what you want and fixing it to what you actually need – God himself.
When I read Proverbs 31:10-31, I made a decision to be that kind of woman. A woman who fears God. The way the author of those verses described the woman sounds so appealing that if I was a man, I would want a woman like that. When I started choosing to fear God and pursue him, which means I chose to daily live my life trying to please him in everything that I do, people started to notice something in me. They always keep saying, “You look blooming!” or “You look more beautiful!”, when all I did was make sure that a part of my day is spent in the presence of God.

And surely, after being so content with who I am and how God is molding me, a lot of guys tried to win my heart that time. To cut the long story short, God led me to the man who never fails to pursue me up to this day.
So, why did I say that for you to make him chase you, you need to fear God and pursue Him?
- Because, you get to be the kind of woman God wants you to be.
When you prioritize God, you get to see life how He wants you to see it. You get to see which are things that are really important from the things that the world is telling us. This in turn will change how you view things and will give you opportunities to practice and develop Godly characters such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control. The more you choose God daily and see His goodness in your life, the more you acquire good characters.
- Because, you will be led by God to His will.
Another advantage is that when you choose God, you allow Him to lead you into His best plan for your life. You will know His voice and will be led to His pleasing and perfect will. And because of this, you will know what your purpose will be and know the things you need to do to fulfill that purpose.
- Because, you will know your value and worth.
When you spend time with God, the one who created you and knows who you really are, you get to know how valuable and beautiful you are. So, the more you know your worth and beauty in the eyes of God, the more you project this beauty around you. This kind of beauty is not based on earthly standards, it’s a heavenly kind of beauty.
It is not our job to chase after men. Our job is to chase after God.
Improve Yourself.
Another way for you to know how to make him chase you is simply be the best version of you.
In Proverbs 31:12, the author said that a woman who fears God does her partner good, and not harm all the days of her life. This goes to show that for her to do good to her partner means that she is innately good. But, the goodness in her is not because of her husband. Instead, it’s because of her relationship and standing in God. She became the best version of her because through God’s love for her, she sees that it’s the best gift she can give to herself and the people around her.

Who we are is enough but it wouldn’t hurt if we learn to put on some little make-up, wear some presentable and modest clothing, and enjoy making yourself more beautiful by doing things that make you feel beautiful.
Have a Generous Heart.
Another thing that makes a woman so attractive and worth chasing is having a kind and generous heart.
Proverbs 31:20 says, “She opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy.” This goes to show that an excellent wife or a woman that is far more precious than jewels has a helping hand and is readily available to help.
If you want your man to chase you, cultivate in yourself the joy to be selfless and generous. This character makes you worth chasing since you get to learn how to give and remember, love is all about giving what you can without expecting anything in return.
When you learn to give, you learn to love genuinely.
Be Confident in Who You Are.
Last way for you to know how to make him chase you is you just need to be confident in who you are.
Women are usually lost in the thought that you have to be “this kind” of girl for a guy to chase you but actually, it’s the opposite. It’s not true that you have to change yourself so that a man will pursue and chase you. A man will chase you because of who you are, and not because of what you believe that you should be a “this kind” of girl.
So, be confident in who you are. Embrace the flaws in you and find ways to improve it. Love your own skin and make sure to take care of it. Be comfortable in your quirkiness and use it to spread joy around your sphere of influence. Know who you are, be confident in who you are, and love yourself.

Let’s be this kind of woman. A kind of woman who loves herself, so confident in who she is, and in what she can do that she can laugh (or maybe cry and then can still laugh afterwards) at whatever will come her way. That’s a woman worth pursuing. That’s what makes your man chase you.
