Growing up in a tropical country, I have always enjoyed the sand and sea, and this is why as the hot season is coming around, I was looking for a modest swimwear.

Modest Swimwear for Women: My personal story
As a mom, I wasn’t too keen on the swimwear choices I see in the stores. Although I love some fashion trends when it comes to summer, I wasn’t really comfortable showing too much skin being a family woman myself. Some of us actually hinder ourselves from enjoying the water because we don’t feel at ease with donning a swimwear. I believe that part of it has something to do with the styles that are available to us at present. Thus, I was looking for some stores that offer modest swimwear for girls and women to find pieces that I feel like I can be the most comfortable with.
Thankfully, I found a great modest swimwear boutique that offers stylish and wonderful selections called LYRA Swim. In this post, I will give a review on many of their well-known pieces, so you can go take a look at them when considering to buy a modest swimwear.

LYRA Swim Review: Modest Swimwear Collection
Sofia Collection
I love LYRA Swim’s Sofia Collection because it’s very stylish, feminine, and uniquely modest. This style is flattering to most body shapes because it cinches at the waist, yet it covers up the bottom area without the need for shorts or extra clothing. This is the Aztec style from the Sofia Collection, but there are several styles and colors available as well. The ones I have seen in the store in the colors Rose, Lavender and Pastel Blue.
The swimwear has four pieces, which includes the top, bottom leggings, detachable bottom skirt, and optional cap. I love the material and how each style stays close to trends that never go out of style.
ASRA Collection
The Asra Collection is another trending style that’s meant for comfort and is a bit loose on the top piece. I love this swimwear too because it’s quick drying and chlorine resistant. Not only that, the swimwear also has SPF 50 which makes it very protective from the sun’s harmful UV rays.
I believe LYRA Swim is one of the best modest swimwear brands because they cater to people with different cultures and religious backgrounds. Not only are women able to pick from trendy yet modest pieces, but they can also be at peace with their clothing which adheres to cultural and religious requirements.
Halima Collection
The Halima Collection is one of my personal favorites. I love the chic style and cut of this modest swimsuit because it gives an elegant wrap-around design at the midline and on the waist. I believe it is very flattering for most body types as it is very feminine and simple. This swimwear definitely embodies “Less is more”.
Like the Sofia Collection, Halima also has four pieces which incldues the top, detachable skirt, leggings and optional cap.
